DAY BOAT TRIPS INFORMATION

Programme:
Our bespoke, private, small-group yacht charters are a far cry from the mass-produced tourist boat trips. This popular choice is a fantastic sailing experience.
8 and a half hours on your own private yacht.
Visit Comino’s infamous Blue Lagoon and Crystal Lagoon; travel south to experience the bastions of the Grand Harbour and explore anchorages such as it-Tlett Hofriet (the Three Holes) or explore the clear blue waters of Selmun bay.
Alternatively, if the wind is favourable, hoist the sails and try your hand at sailing, all under the supervision of your fully licensed skipper.
Enjoy the day relaxing in the sun, snorkelling along the coastline, make use of our on board paddleboards to explore the local caves and coves.
We meet at the boat in Ta’Xbiex, at 9.00am. Here you will meet your skipper
After a debriefing, together with your skipper, you will decide which bays to visit.
Our commercially licensed skippers will offer you a number of suggested anchorages based on their local knowledge and the weather of the day. You decide how many stops you want to make. This is your trip and we do our best to ensure your demands are met .Set off to explore Malta’s fabulous shoreline. From craggy cliff edges to coves with crystalline clear sea, you will be spoilt for choice.
Enjoy lunch on board. Either bring your own and make use of the onboard fridges or we can provide you with a number of lunch menu options. We endeavour to use local seasonal produce and we can tailor our menus to accommodate any dietary requirements.
Return to the Marina by 5.30 pm
Our flagship boat, Allegra, is insured and licensed to take up to 12 guests ( we recommend 10 for comfort) however we can cater for any group size. We manage many partner boats all carefully vetted and manned by our skippers to ensure you get the best possible service.

Half-Day Boat Rentals
4 HOUR CHARTER on 48ft ‘Allegra’ (WEEKDAYS ONLY).
Program
This package is ideal if you are constrained by time but would still like to have some time out on a sailing boat; saving yourself time and money.
Our half day charters are either early charters 9.00 am to 1.00 pm ; 1.30 pm to 5.30 pm.
Evening charters from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.If you wish to change the times, please ask us for availability.
You will be provided with a safety briefing, prior to leaving the berth.
We will visit either Hoffriet Bay in the South, St Pauls Islands or Fra Ben in the North. We will decide which anchorages to visit depending on the weather conditions of the day. This trip is too short, for a visit to Blue Lagoon in Comino. However Malta offers many other wonderful bays with pristine water for you to explore and enjoy
On our return, we will navigate up Marsamxetto Creek. We could include a Harbour tour should you wish. If returning at night, you will experience Valletta and Manoel Island Fort lit up - a truly magical sight.
Return to the Marina 4 hours later.

Late Day Charters with Sunset and Harbour Tour at night.

Program
This package is ideal if you want to experience a late start. Enjoy the sunset on your return and even extend your experience with a tour of the Grand Harbour at night.
Meet at the boat at 1pm.
You will be provided with a safety briefing, prior to leaving the berth.
We will visit one of the many spectacular anchorages dotted around Malta and Gozo. We will decide which anchorages to visit depending on the weather conditions of the day. Here you are free to swim, snorkel, explore the shoreline using our on-board canoe and paddle board.
The journey back lets you enjoy sunset from the sea.
A last minute magical experience with a tour of Valletta Harbour and the Three Cities at night before returning to the marina at 9pm.
A light meal with some wine can be arranged for a small fee. We can tailor our menus to offer you local seasonal dishes.

Preparing for your Yacht Charter some tips
Don’t forget to bring with you:
Towels, sun cream, hats and any other personal effects.
Goggles and fins. We have a few googles on board; however, we do not stock fins.
Sea sickness pills, should you think you need them.
Your food for the day, unless we are catering for you.
Although all boats are equipped with a boat fridge it is advisable to pack your food in food coolers.Ice can be bought from the marina office.
Your favourite alcoholic tipple. We do ask that you respect the boat, your skipper and other passengers during your trip.
Parking in Malta is an issue, so bear that in mind when planning your journey.
Once you arrive at the marina, call your skipper so that he can open the gates to the pontoon.
Try the early bird charters - you get to the bays before all of the commercial tourist boats.
Try the late charters - You leave after everyone, so the bays are quieter plus you get the added bonus of enjoying a spectacular Maltese sunset at sea.
If you have any preferences, be it dietary, anchorage, or itinerary, please inform us when booking your yacht charter. We will do our best to tailor your boat trip to your requests.
Payment Terms
A 20% deposit is required to confirm your charter booking. The remainder of the balance should be paid three weeks before the charter date. Any outstanding balance must be paid in cash, or using our card payment facility before your charter.
If your yacht charter needs to be cancelled due to weather conditions, we will reschedule or refund your payment in full.
Your deposit will not be refunded if you cancel within 2 weeks of your yacht charter date.
Food orders cannot be refunded if cancelling within 4 days of your yacht charter date.
